Exceptional Student Services
Working closely with the Pinellas County Schools, the 22nd largest school district in the U.S., we applied our training technology to help persons with Autism and other learning differences and difficulties to become stand-alone employable. We have been able to help people who would otherwise be destined to sit on their couches for the rest of their lives land real jobs and become productive citizens. Some Success Stories
-
Jeffrey Nichols
Alsco® Linen Services Employee
Jeffrey is a person with Autism. Jefferies parents are very supportive and pushed hard for FLC to work with the school district to help him find and learn a job. Jeffery leveraged his Community Based Instruction (CBI) skills with the help of FLC to become a successful Alsco® Linen Services employee. -
Zachary Solomon
Sexton Elementary Kitchen Staff Member
Building on Jeffery Nichols' success, Zachary Solomon's Job Coach used FLC to create a Workumentary™ to reinforce Zachary's job skills and allow him to retain knowledge over the summer break. -
Nick B
College Student, Saint Leo University
Nick was on his way to college. Although he struggles a bit with some learning challenges, we used our technology to teach him how to change a car tire in the event he had some roadside difficulties.
